Dr. Alexis made me feel confident about my upcoming surgery and I truly felt that everything was under control and would turn out well. In my situation, I met her at the office and then met her at the hospital for surgery only hours later. Start to finish, I really felt that I had an excellent experience.

An Urgent Surgery Patient

Great to have this professional join our home-town community- she is so friendly, social and kind, she fits right in!

When I was first diagnosed with cancer, I was anxious and afraid. Dr. Alexis, Sonoma’s new breast care surgeon, took time to answer all my questions and address my concerns. Her calm and reassuring manner made me feel safe in her care both before and after my surgery. She’s not only a warm and wonderful person, she’s an excellent surgeon. (You can hardly see my stitches!) Dr. Alexis and her staff (particularly Veronica) are efficient and professional and I am grateful to have their support.

Surgery is more than the technical science of operating. It is also an art, and it requires sound and humble judgement, exercised with compassion, and a never-ending focus on that which is most critical: the patient. Independent practice allows me to focus on personalized care. I am accountable primarily to my patients, not a corporate entity.  Guiding patients through their surgical journey is an honor and a tremendous responsibility. //aa
